This issue has won 1st Place, Best College Newspaper in the 38th Regional College Press Conference and Awards held at the Iloilo Grand Hotel, Iloilo City on November 28, 2013. It also won minor awards: 1st Place, Best News Page; 1st Place, Best Editorial Page; 1st Place, Best Newspaper Layout; and 5th Place, Best Sports Page. The competition was organized by the Philippine Information Agency and Smart Communications.
